Before you install
No email, no account, no sign-in wall. Open the app and import a document — that is the whole setup.
The HD voice is a 145 MB neural model that lives on your phone. It downloads on first use, over Wi-Fi, and then never needs the network again. That one download is the price of never sending a document to a server.
Reading, structure analysis, and synthesis all run on the device. Audris works on a plane, on the subway, and in a country where you do not want to pay for data.
Three pages a week, about 900 words, at full HD quality — because a voice that runs on your own phone costs us nothing to give away. Premium is $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year when you want the meter gone.
